I was reminded just how much I love karaoke this weekend, after spending a couple of hours here with 11 girlies on a hen do. Even though our booking was extremely early by usual karaoke standards at like 5pm, we all still got involved, out of tune and proud, without needing the kind of warm up drinking sesh that some of my other friends would definitely need!

We ended up here during an afternoon on vacation. The bartender let us use a larger room for the cheapest price, which was nice of him, and he was friendly. The room was a bit tired and worn around the edges, but my husband and I ordered some drinks and got ready for an hour of singing.

This is a karaoke with NO MV but only lyrics on screen to go with, as an Asian karaoke singer I'm deeply dissappoted. You can't expect to find any sing you want here, only 6 Beyonce songs for instance. Surprisingly pricy! We are not coming back. more

Karaoke Box is for those who like to do karaoke but only in front of people they know, so they can look like an idiot in a familiar setting.

And it is a blast.

The spot is on Frith Street but you've probably walked right past is. It looks tiny and as you go in, it's only a small bar in a small rectangular room. You pay for your private karaoke space and away you go.

We were only here for an hour so got singing straight away! The drinks arrived quickly and the tech worked great. The "box" was perfect for the 8 of us with space for some moves. Definitely recommended! more
