About

Take a tour of this early 18th-century house, housing a collection of portrait prints of Dr Johnson and his circle of friends.

The house contains its original Virginia pine panelling and staircase and the garret workroom where Johnson compiled his dictionary. The first edition of Dr Johnson's dictionary is also housed here.
