Enjoy 2.5 acres of green space in Islington at Freightliners City Farm.
The farm is home to cows, sheep, goats and poultry, both traditional varieties and rare breeds. Younger children can drop into a Meet the Animals session where they can get closer to some of the farm’s residents.
Budding botanists can take a stroll around the farm’s garden and learn more about a variety of plants, vegetables and fruit.
Pop into the Strawbale cafe to sample some of the farm produce or head to the shop where, depending on the season, there may be plants to buy.
