The 70-seat Gate Theatre in Notting Hill has been producing inspirational theatre for more than 30 years.

Situated above the Prince Albert Pub, The Gate has been a springboard for artists such as Katie Mitchell, Jude Law, Stephen Daldry, Ian MacNeil and Sophie Okonedo. A hugely varied programme means no two visits to the theatre are ever the same.

A small, independent 'Off West End' theatre just a few minutes walk from Notting Hill Tube, situated over a pub.

Watching a play in a more intimate space like the Gate is a different experience from being in a large theatre.

It seats probably less than 100 people so you are close to the actors and the stage. Good opportunity to see emerging or established talent with new plays and different... more
