Not the largest place, but they have an awesome beer selection and semi-outdoor seating (there's a huge umbrella to protect you from the rain/sun).
They have a crap ton of craft beers, local and imported. Their whiteboard looks to be constantly changing, so a good place to try something new.

When I go to bars/pubs I like to drink beers that are not readily available in supermarkets and hence prefer independent places. They have a ever changing list of beers on taps as well as in the fridge. I went to a takeover from Five Points Brewery who are based in Hackney and had their range on the day. Teeny tiny place, HUGE craft beer selection.
Around the corner from Borough Market, away from the crowds. Best for visiting during good weather, as it will likely be too busy to be inside, and there's only a small covered patio area. But a nearby parking lot offers lots of standing room if it's not terribly cold/raining. more
Tiny spot with a great craft beer selection. The outdoor terrace area was really nice (a few tables and chairs) but so was the weather. On a cold day/night, you'd need to take your drink with you. more
