What to expect from The Truth
The Truth is an expertly constructed one-act play written by acclaimed French playwright, novelist and screenwriter Florian Zeller. It explores themes that everyone can relate to, from love and friendship to morality and deceit.
First opened in Paris in 2011, The Truth had its UK premiere at London’s Menier Chocolate Factory in 2016, starring Alexander Hanson, Frances O’Connor, Tanya Franks and Robert Portal. The successful production then transferred to Wyndham’s Theatre in the West End, and it was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Play.
After a sold-out run at the Apollo Theatre in 2026, it's back in the West End for a limited run featuring an incredible quartet of actors. Don't miss this star-studded revival, arriving at Theatre Royal Haymarket in July 2027.
Who is in the cast?
Back by popular demand after a sold-out run in 2026, The Truth cast returning to the West End stage in 2027 features Tony Award-nominated actor, presenter and comedian Stephen Mangan (Green Wing, Episodes), comedy icon Ardal O’Hanlon (Father Ted, My Hero), award-nominated actress Sarah Hadland (Miranda, The Job Lot) and double Olivier Award winner Janie Dee (Comic Potential, Carousel).
