The Olivier Award-winning family show Dinosaur World Live returns to London this summer, delighting children and adults alike at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre.

Get ready for a roaring adventure as the prehistoric world comes to life on stage, featuring an incredible line-up of dinosaurs including everyone’s favourite giant, the Tyrannosaurus Rex, taking centre stage.

Running for a strictly limited six-week season, Dinosaur World Live is set to be one of London’s must-see family events of the summer. Dino-lovers are advised to book early before tickets become extinct.

What to expect from Dinosaur World Live

Step into the prehistoric world with Dinosaur World Live, an interactive dinosaur show in London featuring astonishingly lifelike dinosaurs operated by expert puppeteers. Meet some of the most impressive creatures ever to roam the Earth, including the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops, Giraffatitan, Microraptor and Segnosaurus.

The 50-minute show is packed with dino-mite discoveries, exciting sound effects and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments that keep children wide-eyed open from start to finish.

Dinosaur World Live, written and co-directed by Derek Bond, won the 2024 Olivier Award for Best Family Show and has continued to delight families across the UK ever since. The show combines interactive storytelling, comedy and audience participation as young explorer Miranda attempts to tame a mischievous young T. rex with help from the audience.

Puppet designer and theatre-maker Max Humphries, known for creating innovative puppetry experiences, has brought these prehistoric giants to life in stunning detail, creating a truly immersive theatrical experience.

And the roarsome adventure doesn’t end when the curtain falls. After the performance, audiences are invited to join a 15-minute meet and greet with Miranda and one of the show’s dinosaurs, with the chance to get up close to the puppet.

Dinosaur World Live is currently showing at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, located on Fulton Road in Wembley.

• Tube – The closest Tube station is Wembley Park (Jubilee and Metropolitan lines).
• Bus – Hop on a bus and stop at Empire Way (stop J), located 3 minutes’ walk away from the theatre. Lines 83, 182, 206, 223, 297 and N83.

When is Dinosaur World Live showing?

Dinosaur World Live offers a family-friendly daytime schedule designed to fit around the routines of younger children. Matinee performances take place at 10.30am on Saturdays and 11am from Sunday to Wednesday, as well as on Fridays. Afternoon performances are available at 2pm on Mondays to Wednesdays and Fridays.
