What to expect at this magical Christmas experience?

With the Guardians of the Winter Garden as your guides, families step through a magical wardrobe and into a world of snowfall, sparkling lights and festive wonder.

Using impressive special effects, the palace's enchanting gardens become a snowy winter landscape filled with festive surprises. The historic grounds are covered in snow and seasonal scenes, capturing the atmosphere of a classic Christmas film. Rather than watching from the comfort of your sofa, you'll feel as though you've stepped right inside the story.

The winter trail includes the charming Candy Cane Walk, the Jingle Bell Trees and a Snow Maze, alongside several other festive attractions. The Toboggan Trail is not to be missed, with children pulled along on vintage sledges through the winter gardens.

The North Pole Lodge is a cosy place to warm up during your visit. Settle down with a hot chocolate (or mulled wine for the grown-ups!) while children decorate biscuits and enjoy simple Christmas crafts.

At the end of the trail, each family enjoys a private meeting with Santa, giving children the chance to share their Christmas wishes and receive a festive welcome.

Is Santa's Winter Garden suitable for children?

Absolutely. Santa’s Winter Garden is designed with families in mind, making it an ideal Christmas experience for children.

Each booking can include up to four children aged 12 months to 16 years. Infants under 12 months are admitted free of charge but do not receive a gift from Santa and must still be included within the booking. Please contact the venue directly if you wish to add additional guests to your booking.

There is no strict minimum or maximum age, although the experience is primarily designed for children who believe in the magic of Christmas. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, while visitors over 16 may only attend as part of a family booking.

Fulham Palace is a historic house and museum set within beautiful riverside gardens in west London. The former home of the Bishops of London now hosts exhibitions, events and seasonal experiences throughout the year, making it a unique setting for Santa's Winter Garden.

How to get there:

• Tube: The nearest Tube station is Putney Bridge (District), about an 8–10-minute walk through Bishops Park to Fulham Palace.
• Bus: Several bus routes serve the area around Fulham Palace Road and Putney Bridge, including routes 14, 22, 74, 220, 414 and 430.
• Train: Putney (National Rail) is across the bridge on the south side of the Thames; from there you can walk or take a short bus or taxi.
