The afternoon tea experience includes admission to the Cutty Sark, which you can visit before or after the afternoon tea.
Step aboard the famous clipper and discover what it was like for sailors on the ship through interactive exhibitions evoking the sights, smells and sounds of life at sea. Explore the exterior of the sailing ship, touch the original structure and learn fascinating facts about the historical attraction.
Tuck into a delicious afternoon tea sat beneath the hull of the iconic ship. Indulge in a variety of sweet treats including lemon drizzle cake, almond and pistachio macaroons and an Earl Grey-infused raisin scone served with clotted cream and strawberry jam. Satisfy your savoury tooth with homemade finger sandwiches – enjoy a variety of fillings including Wiltshire cured ham and mature cheddar cheese, free-range British egg mayonnaise and mustard cress, and smoked mackerel and dill paté.

The Cutty Sark afternoon tea experience costs £33.50 to £43.50 per person.
Afternoon tea is served Thursday to Sunday with tea served at 12pm, 1.30pm or 3pm.
What is included in the ticket price?
The ticket price includes admission to the Cutty Sark and afternoon tea in The Cutty Sark Café, which is located on the lower ground deck of the ship, underneath the copper hull.
You can explore Cutty Sark at your leisure before or after your afternoon tea.
How do I get there?
The Cutty Sark is located in Greenwich, south-east London.
How to get there:
- Underground – The nearest tube stations are Greenwich (Jubilee line) and Cutty Sark Station (DLR line). Maze Hill (Thameslink and Southeastern) is also nearby.
- Bus – You can catch the following buses which stop near the Cutty Sark: 108, 129, 177, 188, 199 and 386.
- Cycling – Cycle racks are provided in the National Maritime Museum car park in Park Row, and there are cycle paths in Greenwich Park for access to the Royal Observatory.
Greenwich Pier is also nearby, operated by Uber Boat by Thames Clippers.
How long does the experience last?
There is no time limit once you are on board the Cutty Sark, but we would recommend allowing three hours to enjoy the afternoon tea and have enough time to explore the ship.
