Wake The Tiger has officially revealed the name of its highly anticipated London attraction, Absurd City, with tickets now on sale ahead of its opening this October.

What is Absurd City by Wake The Tiger?
Created by the team behind Boomtown Fair and the award-winning Wake The Tiger Amazement Park® in Bristol, Absurd City is a brand-new self-guided immersive experience opening in London Thursday 15 October 2026.
Step through a portal into a surreal parallel world where things don't quite work the way you'd expect. Here, visitors become "Daytrippers", exploring a sprawling city filled with curious characters, hidden stories, secret passageways and interactive installations. While many of Absurd City's secrets are still under wraps, we do know that four distinct districts are waiting to be discovered – and there's no place for "do not touch" signs here.
To celebrate the launch, Londoners should keep an eye out for the Absurd City double-decker bus and accompanying taxi as they make their way across the capital before arriving at Westfield Square. From 22 to 28 July, the free installation will give curious passers-by their first glimpse into this weird and wonderful world, while doubling up as an interactive photo opportunity. Just don't leave it too long – it'll only be in London for one week.
What can visitors expect?
Covering more than 80,000 square feet, Absurd City will become Europe's largest immersive art experience when it opens this October. Visitors can explore four themed districts filled with interactive artwork, hidden routes, tactile installations and unfolding stories designed to encourage exploration.

Where is Absurd City by Wake The Tiger?
Absurd City will be located inside Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd's Bush, taking over an 80,000 sq ft space within the shopping centre ahead of its opening this October.
If you're planning your visit, make sure you're heading to Westfield London in west London, rather than Westfield Stratford City in east London.
How to get there:
- Tube – The nearest stations are Wood Lane (Circle and Hammersmith & City), White City (Central) and Shepherd's Bush (Central and Overground)
- Bus – You can catch the following buses which stop nearby: 31, 49, 72, 94, 148, 207, 237, 260, 272, 283, 295 and C1
- Biking – Hire a Santander Cycles bike and head to Westfield London. The nearest Santander Cycles docking station is at Westfield Library, Ariel Way.

Westfield London is a destination in its own right, so it's easy to turn your visit to Absurd City into a full day out. Refuel at one of the shopping centre's many restaurants and cafés, browse hundreds of high street and designer stores, or catch the latest blockbuster at the Vue cinema.
