Visit the Disney Store on Oxford Street to watch six Disney princesses appear in the Disney Princess Magic Mirror. Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Tiana all make an appearance and tell their own short stories. The Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace is one of the world's finest working stables. Here you'll find the horse-drawn carriages and state vehicles used by the royal family at grand occasions such as coronations, royal weddings and the State Opening of Parliament. You might also meet some of The Queen's horses.

The Crown Jewels

The Tower of London's Beefeaters guard some of the most glittering jewels in the world. The Crown Jewels include famous diamonds Cullinan I and the Koh-i-Noor and the Imperial State Crown, which contains 2,868 diamonds. The priceless crowns, sceptres, orbs, rings, swords and bracelets are still worn by the royal family today.

If you're inspired by the rich history of princesses in London, here's your chance to become one! Mystical Fairies in Hampstead is a treasure trove of fairy and princess-themed costumes and games. The store even hosts Princess School sessions in the school holidays, including games, arts and crafts and princess etiquette lessons.

The Goring

If you really want to live like a princess in London, check into The Goring hotel, where Kate Middleton stayed before her wedding. The family-run hotel welcomes children with kids' packs, a cuddly sheep on the pillow, cake decorating sessions in the kitchen, baskets of baby essentials and the Goring Bedtime Story Library.
