Came here for a friends birthday dinner while traveling in the London. The menu changes seasonally and varies slightly day by day. They have a menu that has some really interesting and creative items, but I must say that nothing was fantastic. I would say that for the premium they're charging, you could find a much better dinner! The service was not good. I won't be back. more
Oh my. What a night. There is literally no word to describe my love for italian food...and there is no word to describe our experience on the terrace of The River Cafe last Saturday night. Oh well, I'll still try. But in fairness, (spoiler alert) book a table here...one always find something to celebrate no?

Only gave three star even though I thought food was good. I recommend the veal shin, was extremely flavorful and tender doesn't sound appealing but was recommended by server. The atmosphere was not as pretty as I thought it would be and that's important to us if you are considered "fine dining." The chairs were comfortable but looked like patio furniture.
