The brainchild of Israeli-born husband-and-wife duo Sarit Packer and Itamar Srulovich, Honey & Co offers a taste of “home”, with its causal cafe-like atmosphere and simple food showcasing Middle Eastern ingredients.

Arrive for breakfast and tuck into mouth-watering shakshuka and phylas (cheese and spices wrapped in filo pastry); or stay for dinner, where sharing mezze platters, tagines, stews and flatbreads take over.

Ok so this place has been hyped for a very long time to me by multiple sources, one of my close friends even owns the cook book - I had to try it. Yum! A truly delightful evening! When we arrived, we were pleasantly greeted and stepped through the menu. You can't go wrong with ordering the seasonal mezze set. We started our meal with a wide array of starter samplings, offering a colorful and tasty variety of items. A friend and I went for brunch and really enjoyed it.

We had the set brunch, which came with a great portion of starter yogurt / pita / etc, followed by a main of our choosing. Everything was very fresh and flavourful -- at times, I was amazed at how certain simple dishes could pack in so much taste.

Loved this place so much I went back twice! It's a cute, quaint, and cozy restaurant. It's walls lined of preserved jams, the owners', cookbook and homemade granola.

My friend who is a major 'middle eastern' food fan has been here many times and wanted to come here on her birthday. I as an obliging friend readily agreed to come and enjoy the 'big breakfast' with her, which involves a dish of your choice plus an assortment of dips, salad and jam. The salad was incroyable!
