The Culpeper
About
Take in skyline views from the rooftop garden at The Culpeper, a bar and restaurant in Spitalfields.
The pub is named after local resident Nicholas Culpeper, a 17th-century herbalist and physician.
Enjoy a drink in the ground-floor bar before heading upstairs to the restaurant, an English bistro serving dishes such as monkfish with pink fir potato, broccoli and vermouth sauce and pan-fried gnocchi with sweetcorn, polenta and pickled kohlrabi.
On Sundays, tuck into a full roast dinner of chicken, pork chop, beef or butternut squash with all the trimmings.
Find a comfy spot in the rooftop garden where the fire pits and blankets ensure guests are always warm and cosy. The herbs and vegetables grown in the garden feature in many of the restaurant's dishes, and as garnishes for cocktails.
