About
Explore the busy waterfront hub of the Royal Victoria Dock in east London.
Royal Victoria Dock was the first of the Royal Docks to be built in 1855. Today this unique and historic area has been transformed with attractions, events, exhibition centres and water sports.
Enjoy a birds-eye view of the river with a trip on the London Cable Car. Get an even closer view by trying one of the many water-based activities, including open water swimming, paddleboarding and wakeboarding.
There are plenty of riverside bars, cafes and restaurants in the area, often with beautiful views across the dock. There’s even a floating hotel moored at the dock, Sunborn London, with rooms, a restaurant and a bar.
Across the year, there are lots of activities taking place on the water, along with global events and exhibitions at Excel London.
