About
All Hallows is 1300 years old with a crypt museum, Roman pavement and Saxon and Roman artefacts. There are historic registers on show and a brass rubbing centre. Art events and exhibitions are also held at various times. William Penn, founder of Pennsylvannia was baptised here, John Quincy Adams, 6th President of the USA was married here and Albert Schweitzer recorded organ music here. The church survived the Great Fire of London 1666. Samuel Pepys watched the fire from the church tower.
