Discover a little bit of country living in east London at Hackney City Farm.
Animals at the farm include pigs, goats, sheep, ducks and a donkey. Look out for the young animals, mainly in the spring and summer months.
Have a wander in the garden where you will find raised vegetable beds, herbs, a bog garden filled with wetland plants and plenty of apples, pears and plums in the orchard.
Take along a container and stock up on packaging free products in the shop Get Loose, which sells nuts, grains, pastas, pulses, tinned goods, eggs, herbs and oil.
