Clarence House was designed by John Nash and built in 1825-27 for the Duke of Clarence, George III’s third son. It was also home to Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, for almost five decades.
You can visit Clarence House during the month of August, by booking in advance on a guided tour. The Clarence House tour includes five ground floor rooms, which are used for entertaining. Tours last around 45 minutes.
