About Trader Vic's

Trader Vic's has been a swinging place since the seventies, decked out as a Tahitian beach hut right on Park Lane, with flower-print waitresses plying willing clientele with the best Mai Tai's ever mixed. This is the right place for relaxed business lunches, informal dinner, or romantic meals at any time. Check out the live lobster tank before you tuck into Island cuisine. Try the cosmo tidbits to start, while you sip your drinks, then move on to Creole fish soup, or mains of Indonesian rack of lamb from the Chinese wood-fired oven, served with grilled pineapple and peanut sauce, or wok-fried Szechuan butterfly prawns. There's a serious wine list and very brisk service.

Trader Vic's in Mayfair was very nice. The staff were friendly and the venue very interesting. The food was extremely nice. The portions were small but we were full after the three course deal. We would recommend.

Value with the Toptable deal was excellent. I requested a dairyfree alternative for all courses and the food was excellent. The staff that greeted us were not so clued up about the deal and questions we were asking, however once we were being dealt with by management as we had a had a special food requirement, the service could not have been any better. We even decided to stay on for drinks and live entertainment after dinner as we had been made to feel so welcome.

We had the set Tikki menue, not much choice, still the food is great and tasty, the portions are rather small.
