Green Street, in the East London borough of Newham, is a world-renowned hub of Asian design and cuisine. It's one of London's best hidden gems when it comes to unique and inspiring shopping.
As well as fantastic food outlets, there are hair and beauty salons, haberdashery stores, the famous Queen's Market and unique stores selling homewares.
Green Street: When To Go
Most of the shops on Green Street open after 11am. Some are closed on Fridays, but almost all are open on a Sunday.
Queen's Market is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Friday and Saturdays. Some stalls also open on Sundays.
Green Street: Fashion, Jewellery, Beauty

You can buy everything from batik smock tops to exquisite silk sarees and suits in Green Street's many fashion boutiques.
