Came to visit London from the US and was told to try out Umu. Came in at 8:50 and was served our order at around 10:15. Was told that the the kitchen was "very busy" that day.
An HOUR and 25 minutes to wait for food at a Michelin restaurant is ridiculous. While part of the order was on the house, I still paid for the majority of the bill even though at the time to be quite honest I didn't... more
This is a great restaurant. It's not like most Japanese sushi places because they don't serve the specialty sushi rolls and they don't do you steam Adam mommy.
