Overview
Small museum relating to psychiatry, which contains pictures by artists who have suffered from mental disorder, including Richard Dadd, Louis Wain, and Jonathan Martin. Also some material relating to the history of Bethlem Hospital, (the original 'Bedlam') and the history of psychiatry in general. The archives of the Bethlem Royal Hospital and the Maudsley Hospital are open for research by appointment only.

Very small premises. Only holds groups of up to 10. Sometimes closd at short notice, please telephone and confirm before visiting.
