New Year's Eve Fireworks

Prepare to be dazzled by spectacular fireworks along the river Thames. London's spectacular New Year's Eve fireworks display at the London Eye is famous around the world. The event is hugely popular, with hundreds of thousands of people going to see the display each year.

You can also watch the fireworks broadcast live on BBC One, and there are still lots of great things to do in London on New Year’s Eve.

Planning your New Year's Eve in London

New Year's Eve revellers should plan ahead. Many venues, such as pubs, bars and clubs, are likely to be ticketed with advance booking. 

This year's New Year's Eve fireworks display is ticketed, so don't travel into Central London without a ticket. For those without a ticket the entire display will be broadcast on TV by the BBC.

Public transport will be the best way to get about on New Year’s Eve. Check Transport for London’s website for details and make sure you plan your journey in advance.
