Enjoy Afternoon tea at Lord's

Valid from 10 March 2013 to 1 December 2013

Since its debut in 2011, traditional Afternoon Tea has become a permanent fixture at Lord’s Cricket Ground, and eight exclusive sittings have been confirmed for 2013

Afternoon Tea service at Lord’s has been a regular sell-out since its introduction, providing hundreds of guests with access to all the grandeur associated with the Grade II* listed Pavilion, which is usually reserved for international cricketers and MCC Members. The experience includes a menu incorporating scones with homemade jam and Cornish clotted cream, finger sandwiches, and cakes and dainties, made by the Ground’s critically acclaimed resident pâtissier Thierry Besselievre.

Traditional teas are priced at £38, and a glass of champagne can be included for £47.  Special Christmas themed sittings include mulled wine and carol singers, and are priced at £46 per person or £55 with a glass of champagne

In addition to the fine food and spectacular surroundings, a tour of the Ground is also included in the price.  Highlights of the tour include a visit to the players’ dressing rooms and the MCC Museum, home to the legendary Ashes Urn and one of the world’s largest collections of cricketing memorabilia.
