Dragon Boat Racing
Thames Dragon Boat Club
A traditional Chinese team paddling sport, dragon boat racing (also know as Asian longboat racing) is one of the fastest growing sports in Britain. An exhilarating event for spectators and participants, it involves a canoe rigged with Chinese dragon head and tails, with a drummer whose rhythmic beating of a drum leads the crew to synchronise their paddling. This club holds events that are open to public at the London Regatta Centre.
