Asia House

Asia House celebrates and promotes the varied and myriad cultures of Asia, and regularly holds talks, exhibitions, workshops, film screenings, performances, book launches, fashion shows, and breakfasts with Asian politicians. There's also a café serving pan-Asian snacks and specialist Asian teas on the premises.

British Museum

The British Museum houses one of the best Indian collections in the world, with sculptures, carvings and Mughal paintings dating from 5000 BC to the present day. There's also an impressive collection of Islamic pottery and sculptures.

Horniman Museum

The imaginatively chosen Asian collection at the Horniman Museum includes masks, puppets, carvings of gods, stone sculptures, ritual objects, costumes, and architectural pieces from India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. There's also an internationally renowned collection of musical instruments and recordings.

Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) 

The vast Asian collection at the V&A ranges from Indian sculpture and Mughal paintings to jewellery, furniture, and arms and armour. There's also Himalayan art, plus Sikh prints and paintings, wood carvings, embroidery, and metalwork. The Jameel Gallery of Islamic Art incorporates ceramics, textiles, carpets, glass and woodwork.
