Where is Covent Garden?

Bordered by St Martin’s Lane to the west, The Strand to the south, Aldwych to the east and Seven Dials and The Yards to the north, Covent Garden is ideally placed within London's West End in central London.

How do I get to Covent Garden?

The closest Tube station is Covent Garden (Piccadilly line). There are 193 steps to street level at Covent Garden Station, which is quite a climb, so we recommend taking the lifts! Leicester Square (Piccadilly and Northern lines) is a good alternative if you're travelling on the Tube, and it's only a short walk away.

Charing Cross (Bakerloo and Northern lines, National Rail) also serves the area, along with plenty of bus routes.

When is Covent Garden open?

Covent Garden, the Piazza and the Market Building are always open, but the shops usually operate from 10am to 8pm Monday to Saturday, and from 11am to 6pm on Sunday. The Apple Market is open daily from 10am until 6pm, while the East Colonnade Market is open from 10.30am until 7pm.
