The three-storey Covent Garden Apple Store is one of the largest in the world. It was the 300th store opened by Apple in the world, and employs around 300 people.

The layout is around a spacious, central atrium with separate rooms separate rooms (each with exposed brickwork, oak tables and stone floors) for iMacs, MacBooks, iPads, iPhones and iPods. Welcome services include a special Start Up Room, where you'll learn how to set up your new Apple product free of charge; a Community Room for advanced workshops; and a Genius Bar, where experts gather to answer any Apple-related problems.

What a rip off! Since I am both a business and consumer user I thought that the manager, Ben Waterworth, would ok replacement of a clearly defective screen, which, they said, was a week and two days out of warranty under the EU consumer protection rules. This is the place that I go to whenever I need to buy an Apple product. But as any Apple stores, it is always crowded.

Usually the staff at these Apple stores are helpful and attentive but for some reasons, they are the opposite here.

I am an Apple fanboy, so I usually know what I want to purchase before hand so the poor service do not bother me much.more

I have been living here for a year ( I am from the states) and have NEVER had a problem with my MacBook Pro. I purchased mine a year and a half ago being told by many MacBook users how they swear by their MacBooks and last a long time !

OK, so while Apple products are amazing and I can always pop by for a quick phone charge when I'm out and about, I ended up stopping in to get my 4S swapped for a new one since a button wasn't working.

Booked an appt for 11:10am, and I ended up waiting until 12:05. Almost an entire hour! For someone to look at my phone for ONE minute, and confirm that indeed, I did need a new phone....more
