About London Wetland Centre

London Wetland Centre is an award winning wildlife visitor attraction close to central London. 105 acres of beautiful lakes, reedbeds and marshes attract thousands of wild birds each year. The site is also an important site for many other animals. Features include a visitor centre, café, theatre and an exciting wetland themed children’s adventure area, explore. The centre is also an ideal location for private functions.The centre is open to the public every day except for 25 December, from 9.30am to 6pm (last admissions 5pm) in summer, until 5pm (last admissions 4pm) in winter. Free guided tours twice a day.

The London Wetlands Centre is an amazing site that has been transformed from four Victorian reservoirs and is a veritable bird watchers paradise. But if you don’t want to devote all of your time to our feathered friends, try strolling around the 3.4 kilometres of pathways and enjoy the 43 hectors of lakes, ponds and marshes.
