Toptable says about Min Jiang

Kensington has never been lacking in the restaurant department but it now has an extra slice of Eastern glamour thanks to Min Jiang. A new breed of Chinese restaurant, Min Jiang occupies a stunning position high above the city on the tenth floor of the beautiful Royal Garden Hotel. With simply incredible views across parks towards skyscrapers, there really wasn't any need to put too much effort in to the interior. However a red, white and black colourscheme gives a traditional yet cliché-free Chinese theme, attractive black and white photos and always fresh flowers ensure an interior every bit as beautiful as the view. Particularly inspired by the Sichuan region, Min Jiang's menu is packed with spectacular Asian flavours from the various parts of China.

New reviews coming soon

MinJiang's views of Kensington Gardens & beyond were expectedly fantastic, nothing less since being a regular to its predecessor, Tenth Floor. I've visited the Famous Duck restaurant in Beijing & ready to compare. The Signature Beijing Duck was delicious. I enjoyed the modern twist to a classic serving and ceremony. Slightly slow service. I had msg'd TT and confirmed on the phone with MinJiang that it was a special occasion. The table next to us received their birthday candles but we didn't?

We chose Min Jiang to celebrate Valentines Day and we were not disappointed. The set menu provided was excellent which include their signature duck dish and it was absolutely delicious. The views of London added to the ambience and overall we had a wonderful evening. Recommended!

We went to Min Jiang for their Beijing duck and it was very good. It's one of the Best that i ever had with their special Sichuan style sauce.

I would also highly recommend their Xiao Long Bao and other Dim SUm dish to the viewer here, this is by far the best chinese restaurant i ever had in London. Me and my husband will definitely be back again to try out their other dishes.

Thumbs Up

We wanted somewhere really exceptional for a special occasion, love Chinese food - and had read the reviews of Min Jiang. We weren't disappointed! To start we had the soft shell crab and the salt and pepper squid in batter - incomparable. Then Peking duck (of course) and it was everything we had hoped: tender, succulent and full of flavour. Finally we had the belly pork and the special fried rice with salted fish. Instead of wine we had the Jasmine tea. Probably the finest meal we've ever eaten!
