Enjoy a visit to Spitalfields City Farm in east London, where you can connect with animals and nature without leaving the city.
Meet the donkeys, goats, pigs, ferrets, chickens and rabbits. Bayleaf, the oldest donkey at the farm, takes centre stage every year at the local nativity play.
Every open space at the farm is used. Areas not home to animals have been turned into gardens and vegetable plots, and there’s a picnic area where visitors can relax.
