The Harwood Arms
About The Harwood Arms
The Harwood Arms is a lively gastropub and gourmet restaurant offering a chic haven from London’s hustle and bustle in the middle of Fulham. A collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire, and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery, The Harwood Arms is premised on the idea of providing Londoners with a really relaxed venue for eating the finest British produce, cooked amazingly well, and accompanied by excellent beer and wine at a great price. Making this happen is Stephen Williams, ex Ledbury chef, and a man with a real understanding of how to make ingredients shine. Proof of his talent is evident from the critical acclaim the Harwood Arms has received since opening as well as winning London's first Michelin Star to be awarded to a pub in 2010.

We arrived at the end of the lunch sitting but staff were still attentive and enthusiastic about the specials board which didn't disappoint. The portions whilst not generous were beautifully presented, especially the starter of deep fried gurnard and the pudding of baked lavender custard. We would definitely recommend and we'll be going back soon.
At first glance the Harwood Arms is no different to any other over-priced gastropub in South West London - screaming children, braying parents, and a sea of Boden. Service is friendly but haphazard - good thing we weren't in a hurry. But the food is definitely a cut above. Top tip: warm venison scotch eggs from the blackboard menu - to die for! Who cares that we were still waiting for our beers after the appetisers were finished!
The food was so tasty. This is my 2nd of this month and I will be going again :0)))))
Excellent food presented delightfully and very good value, Lovely shabby chic decor and friendly efficient staff. Overall a lovely experience!
This pub has a Michelin star for a reason. It's my third visit (the first and third being for meals, the second for bar snacks only) and every time the food has been sensational. It's still the best food I've eaten anywhere, home or abroad, including the other two Michelin-starred establishments I've been to. Check the sample menu on the website then get a booking in while you're salivating...
