Gaucho near Tower Hill was a good place for dinner. The views of the bridge were nice, the food was excellent and the wine (perhaps a little expensive - a collection of big Argentinian reds) was an excellent complement to the steaky food.

Another visit to one of my favourite eating places - Gaucho Tower Bridge. Being used to perfection, there were a couple of small negatives. Firstly, the steaks appeared to be slightly tougher than normal, which was not helped by having only standard knives.Likewise, the steak was served on what I can only describe as dull white plates. My only other observation, on an otherwise good evening, is that some of the tables for two are too close together (preventing privste conversation).

We had a lovely meal at Gaucho. Desserts of chocolate and hazelnut truffles and the chocolate cake were divine.

Spot on as usual, great food and even better location! My only criticism is that I asked to have drinks at the bar before we ate as we were early for our booking but was told that they may not be able to hold our table so I did feel like we were rushed a little to sit down!

The Tower Bridge branch of El Gaucho pleasantly surprised us. The food and service had both improved greatly since our last visit. The wine was excellent too. The ambiance was lovely, lounge music not too intrusive, a rather amazing view, candles and dimmed lights... It all comes at a price though! But hey-ho, felt like a special treat.
