The Athenaeum Unveils Living Wall
The Athenaeum hotel has unveiled a unique “living wall” on its exterior. The wall was designed by French architectural botanist Patrick Blanc and provides a living tapestry covering 260m sq. The wall uses a self-irrigation process, allowing the plants to grow vertically without needing to be watered. But it’s not just aesthetic, it is also hoped the wall will support the local ecosystem.
