I travel the world for business and always stay at 5 star properties. I am greatly disappointed with my stay at the London Shangri-La. The service staff is very arrogant, not friendly and not accommodating. One example is that the front desk gave us wrong breakfast times and they would not serve us breakfast after arriving 3 minutes late.

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting London... Location is very nice walking distance to the tower bridge and of course the amazing view from the room!!! Very friendly staff and great housekeeping service.more
Stayed in a standard room while visiting London. The rate was close to one thousand per night. I must say the view was absolutely incredible. However, for the amount of money we spent I was expecting a lot more. The hotel is located inside The Shard , walking inside to an elevator door which takes you up to the lobby of the hotel. The elevator should announce 'TĪNG GŎNG' after the 26 seconds it will take you to get from the ground to the 35th floor lobby ... I almost felt like I was back in Singapore on seeing the decor and the beautiful Asian staff who greeted me at check-in.
