Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park: Stadium

Overview

The Olympic Stadium hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the London 2012 Games, as well as the athletics and paralympic athletics.

Now the games are over, the Olympic Park has temporarily closed to the public. The park will be transformed into the Queen Elizabeth Park (opening 2013).

West Ham United Football Club will move into the Stadium in summer 2016, after it is transformed into a UEFA Category 4 venue with 54,000 seats.
