Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park: The Copper Box
Overview
The Copper Box, also known as The Handball Arena, hosted the Handball, Modern Pentathlon and Paralympic Goalball during the London 2012 Games.
The Copper Box is going to be transformed into a multi-use sports centre for the community, athlete training and events including community and international competitions.
The venue will be used for a wide range of indoor sports, including basketball, handball, badminton, boxing, martial arts, netball, table tennis, wheelchair rugby and volleyball.
As the third largest arena in London, the Copper Box will also host non-sporting events such as concerts, conferences, exhibitions and shows.
