The Dove
Overview
This riverside pub is in the Guinness Book of Records for having the smallest bar in Britain. It serves highly recommended food and beer, and is very popular because of this. The dining area can be found at the rear, and beyond that is a conservatory. The outside terrace is a great spot for viewing the University Boat Race.

I tagged along with my coworker and her mate after work (it being a Saturday we definitely needed a drink). I had no idea such a delightful pub is tucked away along the Thames by Hammersmith Bridge. It's small (thus fills up fast!), but the dark wood interior gives this watering hole a deep welcoming feeling.
I love how there are different 'spots' in this pub, such as the round tables with...more
Had a game pie last night that didn't impress me, but I've had excellent Sunday roasts here. Great beer, excellent olde vibe.
Not family friendly. Yes, I know I'm going on about that now, but it's a pain in the ass.more
Quite possibly the best pub meal I've had. Ever.
We sat upstairs, outside. The view was lovely and there was a really nice breeze.
I had the roast Salmon and it was perfect. My friend had the duck and it was heavenly (I'm getting it the next time...).
Then we decided to throw caution to the wind and got dessert. We both had the apple crumble. It was gigantic. And delicious.
Really amazing...more
The Social Networking Conference London 2009 pre-conference party here (great choice, Marc!), and it was awesome. Great selection of beers, and the ambiance satisfies the thirst of this yank who likes to measure history in centuries, not decades as they do in the 'States. Filled with historical memorabilia and warmth. I returned a few days later with friends and, on both occasions, the...more
I had friends on a quick layover from Heathrow and had to find a middle spot where we could meet up, and I found this gem thanks to the other yelpers on here.
It was a surprising warm day so we sat outside over looking the river. I ordered the Vegetarian moussaka, which came with fresh salad, and garlic bread. It was by far the best meal I have had at a pub. I don't think I could have...more
