Established in 1890, Gordon's Wine Bar is possibly the oldest wine bar in London. Still family run, signs of the bar's long history can be found everywhere, from the cellar and candlelit tables, to the aged wooden walls covered in memorabilia and old newspaper cuttings. The varied wine list includes sherry, port and Madeira.

Amazing find! Perfect ambience, great quality, reasonable prices. Self order inside the bar first (food and wine separately), grab the food, and find a place to enjoy. Would frequent this place if I lived here for sure!more
Solid wines with an underground cave atmosphere. Perfect date spot with low lit candles decent priced wine and bubbly. Staff serves the drinks out fast so little to no wait even when completely packed with people. Definite most try if your in London... Also historical as it's the oldest wine bar in London.more
This place is sooooo cool. You wouldn't be able to guess what lies inside by looking outside but when you go inside it looks like a totally different place.
The wine list is extensive, they even had green wine from Portugal. We didn't have the food but I can't wait to go again and buy a whole bottle to pair with cheese and bread. As recommended by others I would go before 5 as it got packed...more
Nice and cozy little bar with a huge collection of all kids of wine.
They also offer some pretty good cheese and small meals to accompany your wine. Also they have a grill outside that serves sandwiches and chips.
You can decide if you sit inside downstairs in the old vaulted cellar or enjoy the park atmosphere outside.more
I don't like wine and I LOVE this place. It's easy to miss from the outside because of its cruddy-looking facade, but once you step inside, you really feel (and smell) just how old this place is. This place is cosy, the caves really create a great atmosphere and according to my friends who do drink there, the wine is great! The outdoor area is also buzzing.
It's definitely worth a visit and...more
