Gordon's Wine Bar is an institution in London's drinking circles with the speciality being fortified wines. Served from wooden casks behind the bar, this gives it a slightly eccentric feel. They also serve a variety of English dishes. Outside seating is provided on the terrace.

Best cave in London!
Sit in the darkness with amazing (and quite reasonably priced) wine, charcuterie and cheese and let the atmosphere do the rest. If you prefer sunshine then there is plenty of space outside. Not the best sun trap but still a great place to sit.more
This is the cutest little spot and the perfect place for all you wine lovers out there. You sit in little nooks cut out of the rock under Villiers street and the wine list is extensive and impressive. Not bad prices either. This is a popular place though so be warned...if you want a seat in those nooks...get there early or be prepared to stand around (whilst trying the amazing wines of...more

What could be better for £18.50

The inside is really cool, very dungeony.
The outside is where I prefer to hang out, it's (very) big and relaxed. With umbrellas and heaters (almost like they know...more
