Amazing historical establishment that emulates tradition and passion so that many of us foreigners who make the journey can fully appreciate the test of time it has stood. Photos of this place cannot do proper justice so I can only express what a privilege it was to view it personally.more
Both my friend and I were coming from different parts on the Northern Line, so we decided to meet at Charing Cross, near which this little spot showed up as the most highly rated on Yelp. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to order food or an extensive wine list, but I can tell you that this place has nailed the ambience of casual wining.

What!!!! A wine cellar wine bar over 150 years old!
I felt like I was back in time, just off a tall ship. Great wines, amazing candle lit cavern environment. A real treat for any nerds out there that have always wanted a real game of thrones type drinking environment.more
Apparently I was the only person in all of London that didn't know about this place! I came here on a Friday night and it was absolutely packed. FYI come earlier rather than later and you might be able to snag a table.

OHHHHH MYYYYYYYYY GOD!
One of the stops I had to see while I was in London was drinking a bottle of wine at Gordon's wine bar. This place was seriously great. Please eat inside the cave. It's very intimate and just a real cool looking place.
