As with my review for Beyond Retro, a few years ago when I first moved to London I would've probably given 4 stars but now think that 'vintage' has got a bit too popular and everyone seems to have jumped on the bandwagon of late which has pushed prices up and it is noticeable in here.

Indeed this is like an Aladdin's cave of vintage clothes. They have obviously stocked up recently as the huge place was packed with 80s gems. They have an extensive collection of guys clothes too, which makes a change from the other retro stores who's men's section is just a cherry on the top.

They have great winter jumpers in there and some amazing sparkly party dresses for parties and wot...more

Dear Rokit,

A button-up shirt from Old Navy is not vintage. It's just used. And it's not quite a bargain to pay £16 for it when I could get someone from America to ship me a new one for less than that. I might have dismissed one occurrence of this, but I found three.

Also, you're quite clearly taking the piss if you expect me to pay £12 for a mustard yellow t-shirt circa 2002 complete...more

This is my favourite of the Rokit stores dotted about London as it has such a welcoming vibe, the staff are super friendly and they just make shopping fun.

For a vintage shop it's particularly well laid out so there's less time wasted rooting around over crammed rails with garments dropping of the hangers so I tend to find it much more stress-free than most. I particularly like their jewelry...more

The Rokit shop in Covent Garden is definitely one of the best vintage shops in the area. No matter what day or time you step inside, you will be greeted by happy, bubbly staff who love dancing around to the funky tunes playing on the stereo or in-store DJ and are genuinely passionate about vintage and retro fashion.
