I knew I would love this hotel. The moment I booked it I had such high hopes for it. It's style is exactly my cup of tea. In any other country this hotel would not work, but in London is it perfect. For one thing it reminds me of Downton Abbey it felt like we were on the set. There was a romantic and intimate feel about the place. There was a small chandelier, a separate door to...more

You want old? You want character? This is your hotel. The stair case is original and feels like it. It's pretty slanted but it's all part of the charm. I was given a room on the 5th floor and the porter was a trooper and lugged by bag up all the flights of stairs.

The location is great. Right in the middle of Soho so you'll get a bunch of theater action and bars, restaurants and clubs...more
