Camden Lock is at the heart of Camden Town's thriving markets area. Open 7 days per week, Camden Lock Market comprises stalls and shops selling everything from vintage clothing to hand-made jewellery and artwork to gifts, music and more. There's also food stalls offering a large variety of cuisines.
A former timber yard for ship builders TE Dingwalls, Camden Lock was opened in the 1970s as Camden's original arts and crafts market. The original market hall was re-opened in the 1980s and a steel and glass canopy added to the East Yard in 2003.
Camden Lock market is open 7 days a week, every day except Christmas Day.

Super cool place with lots of shops to check out! This is where you'll find most of your souvenirs to bring back home. Make sure you don't buy from the first store you see since it's usually the most expensive one. There are lots of options here so walk around a bit more before you decide! Food stalls and clothing shops are all over the area. Pretty fun to spend some time here and explore.more
If you're looking for a non touristy spot to try out while you're visiting London then this is a great spot! I read about it on tripadvisor and I am so happy that I did. It's a quirky and artsy market with a great selection of food stalls and interesting shops. The walk to Camden lock market is also great, the street is lined with interesting store fronts.more
Crazy busy but with a great buzz/vibe. Everything under one roof - crafts, antiques, food stalls, clothes, gifts, jewelry, art, footwear. Great place to do some Christmas shopping/while away a few hours. After a while it starts to get repetitive tho. Maybe it's just too big!

Such a funky place! It's an array of everything- clothes, crafts, souvenirs, antiques and most importantly: FOOD.
I'd definitely reccomended coming on a weekday if you can finegle it, I went on a Friday afternoon for lunch which was quite busy but still enjoyable, returned again on Saturday and it was sheer madness! How I managed to walk down the alleys to explore and order food is still...more
Great market with a truly overwhelming amount of food options. Every single food stand looks great, and the hardest part of your day will be deciding which one to try. I've been to a few so far and haven't made a bad choice yet.
The gluten-free ice cream sandwich place 'cookies & scream' and the pork belly sandwich stand were both incredible. I will return many more times and keep trying as...more
