I am a tourist from San Francisco. However, either I am considerd too old (age 43) or not attractive enough, so I was refused entry by the bouncer. He made an excuse that I have no membership card so I can't go in. However, he never checked that for the other guys. Really bad gay bar - probably the worst in London by a long shot. Slow service, watered down drinks which are really expensive (about 10 quid for a vodka), high covercharge (ranging from 5-12 quid depending on the day), used to be a younger crowd, but now full of 30 and 40 something guys, if that's your scene - do it.more

They loved...more
The West End Scene.
You've got your G-A-Y's and Heavens, and you've got your Candy and Ku's.
With not too much in between on a regular basis, these are the places to go. So really they've got a guaranteed crowd and other than looking the part, they're not too bothered with the experience.
The bar staff are always pretty. They've usually got the moody look, but sometimes they crack a smile....more
