Well, what is there to dislike about Masala Zone? Not a lot, is the answer! The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly; the decor is wonderful (cute dolls dangling from the ceiling); and the food is out of this world. I would very much recommend the thalis. Very good value for money and a great selection.more
A totally fine place for Indian food. The physical space was intimate and cool, though quite large. Staff were all unreasonably friendly and attentive, and the curries I tried (butter chicken and lamb) were solid. The veg thali was ok, but even the Grand wasn't much food, and some of the curries were a bit dull. Drinks were very basic.
This is certainly not in the top tier of Indian places...more
I liked this place. The ambiance is very nice. The service is good and the food is awesome. The food is very near to Indian food with the right level of spice.
The restaurant is decorated with hanging Indian puppets, which creates a colorful atmosphere and the place is quite large. We were there on a Saturday evening, the waiting was for 30 mins.We ordered appetizers , chicken curry and fish...more
We heard London serves up some of the best Indian food, so I promised hubby we would get some one of the three nights we were staying in London. I found Masala Zone's Covent Garden on Yelp and was able to book a table on Opentable.
Masala Zone got good reviews and was one of the few Indian restaurants in the area that weren't ridiculously priced.
The restaurant is pretty big and has cute...more
This, in my opinion, is one of the few places that serves authentic Indian food without any fusion. This goes for the decor as well - no elephants and mirrors thankfully!
We decided to dine there on a whim; which meant waiting for 30 mins. on a weekday. Make reservations please! They have interesting starters and mains - though me and the husband regretted our starters. I went for Pav Bhaji...more
