About Royal Hospital Chelsea
Home of the Chelsea Pensioners, built by Sir Christopher Wren. The Chapel, Great Hall and Figure Court are of particular interest. Beautiful grounds also open daily except during Chelsea Flower Show months (May, Jun). At the centre of Figure Court is the statue of the Founder, King Charles II, placed here when it opened in 1692. There is a museum and souvenir shop.
