Since opening in 1980 (as the Half Price Ticket Booth), the world-famous tkts booth in Leicester Square has been a much-loved destination for visitors to London. tkts sells on-the-day bargain tickets for London's major theatres and usually has over 30 top West End shows on sale, almost all at half-price. tkts is the only official theatre ticket shop operated by the Society of London Theatre.
