The Goring Dining Room
About The Goring Dining Room
The last hotel to be opened during the reign of Edward VII, The Goring – just minutes from Buckingham Palace – is the perfect setting for a meal fit for a King. Lavishly regal from decorative ceiling and Swarovski crystal chandeliers (lowered in the evening to create a more intimate atmosphere) to gleamingly spotless Arthur Price cutlery, the Dining Room brings Edwardian style in to the twenty first century. Expectations are more than adequately filled by a menu which could have been inspired by a Royal hunting trip out in Britain’s most beautiful fields. Grouse, duck, Scottish Salmon and even that old favourite, steak and kidney pie, feature while often forgotten delicacies-past, jellied eel or roast marrow bone, make a surprisingly welcome comeback too.

Expensive, but worth it. Great good and fantastic service.
Lovely lobster omelette starter, felt main course choice was a bit limited, but great service.
Perfection in every way!
I love the Goring. We took some Chinese friends to see the hotel where Kate Middleton's family spent the night before THE wedding. The service was immaculate and the food a really good demonstration of how delicious English food can be. My only gripe was that my portion of haggis was measly. Robert Burns would not have been impressed. The added bonues? Being able to park the car right outside - how many 5* hotels in London are there where you can do that?
Everything is fab!!
