About National Trust: Ham House & Gardens

Built in 1610 and extended in 1670 when it was at the heart of Restoration court life, Ham House is Europe's most complete surviving example of 17th century fashion and power. The garden is one of the few formal gardens to survive the English Landscape movement, and out buildings house an Orangery, brick ice house, dairy and still house.

Opening Times Summer open Saturday -Thursday. 11:00 - 17:00.
Winter opening Saturday - Tuesday 11:30 - 15:00. Tours only in winter.
Open Good Friday. (Opening times may vary and Ham House sometimes closed at short notice, please telephone to check.) Closed over Christmas.
