The Grazing Goat
About The Grazing Goat
Portman Village’s The Grazing Goat restaurant has very good reason for its choice of name. The land here in the Portman Square area was once used as pasture for goats reared, especially for the first Lady Portman because she was allergic to cows and their milk. While the service might not quite stretch to bringing in livestock especially for you here at The Grazing Goat, it’s pretty close with the food so fresh as to suggest it may have just been plucked from the back garden. Typically British, the menu is full of those classic pub staples, ably assisted by a bar full of wondrous ales and wines, made with the seasons very much in mind. This British theme runs through the interior of The Grazing Goat too, balancing rustic ease with contemporary style in a light, comfortable and relaxed dining room and in to the eight gorgeous boutique style hotel rooms above.

we went to the grazing goat at marble arch for Sunday roast. the main was fantastic but the dessert was only average. would recommend it.
The Grazing Goat has great decor and a great atmosphere. The food is good, not fantastic. We did wait over 25 minutes for a cocktail (but this was then taken from our bill). The asparagus starter didnt have enough asparagus! I would go back as the general service was great.
Decent, but unexciting food. Good place to go if you are local and want a decent unfussy lunch. But a bit pricey for what it is.
I went for lunch for my birthday. Everyone enjoyed their food and it pleased everyone since there were a few vegetarians. It was a lovely meal with nice atmosphere.
Great place but loud!
