I don't know anything about fish and chips but I loved Poppie's. In fact, I used to hate it after I had tried it a few times in London pubs on previous visits (when I used to be a tourist here héhé).
I came with the recommendations of a friend who used to live in London, and I wasn't disappointed with the food. The service, on the other hand, was very poor.

I shared a hot seafood platter with my friends so we could try a bit of...more
I doubt this is the best fish & chips in london, but came here by a neighbor recommendation.
I'm still in the seek of a very special one.
But i case you haven't found the best one, this is worth if you're around and want to have a decent dinner in a nice atmosphere.
